National Sales Manager

Clint Betts

Clint have been working in the horticultural industry for over 24 years, starting out as a nursery hand for Waldecks. He began his studies while working in the nursery trade and completed his Certificate in Horticulture, with further studies to include a Diploma in Horticulture, followed by a Certificate IV in Sports Turf Management

Clint has been with Baileys Fertilisers for 11 years and progressed to Sales Manager of the company which he has held for over 8 years, obtaining his Diploma in Management.

Clint has a strong knowledge of the soil profiles within the swan coastal plain of Western Australia. He can develop, analyse and complete nutritional programs to help produce the best possible outcomes and combat the common issues associated with limited water resources and sandy soil profiles. Clint is passionate about the horticultural industry and enjoys providing his expertise to customers, ensuring they get the best out of their turf and plant existence.

Area Sales Manager - General Western Australia

Arlin Simons

Arlin has spent the past 20 years of his career working in the horticultural industry, from being a horticultural grounds person at Whiteman Park to running his own nursery, he clearly enjoys working outdoors.
 
For the past nine years Arlin has been employed by Baileys as an Area Sales Manager, providing the opportunity to meet some great people in the industry and expand his knowledge in all facets of turf, horticulture and agriculture.

Arlin holds an Advanced Diploma in Horticulture and has recently completed a Certificate IV in Turf Management. Over the next twelve months Arlin is working towards achieving his Diploma in Turf Management.

Area Sales Manager - South/ East Western Australia

Shannon White

With a Certificate III in Horticulture, a Diploma in Sports Turf Management and 20+ years’ experience in the fine turf, sporting grounds and landscaping industry Shannon is zealous about all things green.

He has a keen personal interest in native plants; organic, water saving, sustainable products and vegetable gardens and enjoys tending to his very own thriving chilli, herb and veggie patch at home.

Shannon’s desire to produce outstanding results combined with his knowledge, understanding and a practical hands-on approach guarantees he’s always available to exceed horticultural expectations, offer advice, solutions and pre-empt problems in all areas of commercial services.

Area Sales Manager - South Australia

Vince Davey

Vince has over 20 years’ experience servicing the hardware / nursery industry including growers and relevant distributors.

His passion for the industry is clear, with his focus on understanding the customer’s needs, and providing them with the right products and solutions, putting in place a partnership of trust and credibility.

Vince has conducted many talks over the years to specialised garden clubs, retail staff and commercial distributors. Having lived in SA for the past 16 years he has gained valuable insights into the local market that when shared and discussed, can highly assist clients with broader options for consideration.

Retail Sales Representative - Western Australia

Simon Briggs

Simon grew up in the UK, where his keen interest in all things nature and gardening first began. It was in the UK where he achieved his National Certificate in Horticulture from Oaklands College in St Albans.  

Simon worked in the garden and nursery industry in both the UK and Italy, before moving to Australia in 1998. Simon began working at and then moved into management of several Waldecks stores. He then sought another challenge, beginning at National Lifestyle Villages, running their landscape team and completing three villages.

Simon began at Baileys as a Commercial Sales Representative, and after 18 months moved into the Retail Sales Representative role, which he has held for over 8 years.
