When preparing a new lawn from seed or laying turf, dig into the topsoil a 10 - 15cm thick layer of quality compost, such as Baileys Soil Improver Plus, to build up the organic matter.
Then broadcast an even application of Perfect Lawn across your soil, using a rate of 30 grams per square metre. Work into the soil and water well.
When establishing a new lawn of any variety, apply 40 - 50 grams per square metre every 4 weeks. Water in well after application.
When feeding established lawns of any variety, apply 30 - 50 grams, roughly a good handful per square metre. If spreading by hand ensure application is even by walking slowly and making a semicircular throw with each step.Water in well after application.
Reapply every 6 to 8 weeks in the growing season for best results.
